'Through Our Eyes' is an interactive multimedia experience that opened in 2018 at The Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre at Huddersfield University.

 

I developed several touch screen interactives for the exhibition, one of which was the 'Memorial Book'. A digital memorial for local families from the North of England, it contains names, photos, records and stories of people who perished during the Holocaust.

Each person has their own page in the book, comprising text and one or two photos. Each person can also have an additional popup page containing another photo, archive record or letter. Pages can be zoomed into and panned around for a closer look.

 

The content can be fully edited by the client using a content management system (CMS), allowing them to add new people, remove existing people, or edit any of the current information.
